We’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with, and donate to, so many great non-profits since the Avionté Hope Foundation first started out in early 2012, when the founders of Avionte Staffing Software presented employees with a simple challenge: take $50 and find a way to make a difference with it.
Recently, CEO of Avionté John Long appeared at the bi-weekly committee meeting with a very generous surprise, reminiscent of the original challenge presented to employees in early 2012; each of the four committee members was given $2,000 and one month to find a local charity to donate it to!
Four organizations were chosen, and the AHF committee members spent a morning touring the facilities and presenting the checks to the chosen organizations.
