Setting Up your E-Verify Integration User IDs

Last week we discussed how to acquire your E-Verify Integration User ID(s).

You chose to have either a single polling account (one E-Verify Integration User ID that everyone shares) or an individual account for each user. Your Account Manager has provided your User ID(s) and Password, now what?

Single Polling Account Setup in Admin Tools

This section will discuss the single polling account, meaning all users will be using the same account.

 

  1. Within the Avionté Core Application, open Admin Tools and select System from the left panel.
  2. From the right panel, double-click E-Verify. The E-Verify Configuration window loads
  3. Select the first option for the account:
    • All E-Verify users use the single polling service login account.
  4. As administrator, you will enter your account information into the Agent User Name and Agent Password fields.
  5. Click Save to create the single polling account.
  6. The E-Verify sub menu is now available when an Employee record is loaded.

As the Admin you will need to reset your password every 90 days; instructions follow.

Admin Tools Setup when using Individual Accounts

IMPORTANT NOTE: All E-Verify Integration accounts are General User accounts. Any one person with Avionté Admin rights and an E-Verify Integration account can act as the administrator.

  1. Within the Avionté Core Application, open Admin Tools and select System from the left panel.
  2. From the right panel, double-click E-Verify. The E-Verify Configuration window loads.
  3. Select the second option for the account:
    • Each E-Verify user has individual login account.
  1. As the administrator, you will enter your account information into the Agent User Name and Agent Password fields.
  1. Click Save. Your administrator setup is complete.
  2. The E-Verify Account option is now available in the Actions menu.

Each user can now set up their personal E-Verify account form the Actions menu. Both administrator and user accounts will need to reset passwords every 90 days; instructions follow.

Set up your Individual User Account

  1. Navigate to the Start Page.
  2. Open the Actions menu and select E-Verify Account.
  3. Using the credentials provided, enter your account information into the fields.
  4. Click Save to create your user account.

The E-Verify sub menu is now available when an Employee record is loaded.

Changing your Individual Account Password

Your password must be changed every 90 days. You will need to know your existing password in order to change the password associated with your E-Verify account.

  1. Navigate to the Start Page.
  2. Select the E-Verify option from the Actions menu.
  3. Enter the existing password into the E-Verify Password field.
  4. Click Change Password.
  5. Enter the new password into the appropriate fields. The password must conform to the displayed requirements.
  6. Click Submit Password to save.

Changing the Admin Account Password

The password must be changed every 90 days. You will need to know the existing password.

  1. Open Admin Tools and select the E-Verify option under System.
  2. Enter the existing password into the Agent Password field.
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. Enter the new password into the appropriate fields. The password must conform to the displayed requirements.
  5. Click Submit Password to save.

Expired Password

If you have not changed your password within the 90 day time frame it will expire. E-Verify must reset all expired passwords. Contact your Support Team to have your password re-set. A password re-set may take 10-15 business days.
