The Challenge: Two payroll systems; clients in 48 states. You do the math.

Employee Enterprises, Inc. is a privately held, WBENC-certified firm based out of Washington, DC that has provided contingent workforce solutions for over 30 years.

As the company grew and expanded, Employee Enterprises realized they needed software to integrate two separate payroll systems – an old database and a Windows-based system – into a single solution. With clients in 48 states, the firm had to deal with the requirements of each state separately – making their payroll process a logistical nightmare.

 

The Avionté Difference

Confident in our ability to greatly streamline their payroll function, our team put together a presentation for Employment Enterprises, which explained how we could work together to enhance Employee Enterprises’ payroll systems in ways that other software vendors couldn’t.

Simply put, we showed them how we could help them move Beyond Software.

Employee Enterprises’ Billing and Payroll Manager, Debbie Salvato, sat in on the presentation.

“They had to bring everything over and it had to be perfect – and it was,” Debbie said.

 

Implementation

Once Employee Enterprises made the decision to work with Avionté, we sent a team of staffing software experts to work on -site, monitoring the progress and keeping the lines of communication open. And our staff remained on-site for each phase of implementation, immediately available to resolve any issues that could potentially arise.

Three phases of implementations took place over a five-month period. Debbie said they all went smoothly, and having an employee on-site made a huge difference.

 

The Results: Huge time savings, customized reporting

  • Now, through Avionté’s web portal, Employee Enterprises can provide employees with a substantial amount of information, like their direct deposit and Paid Time Off information, which is a huge timesaver for the firm.
  • Now that Avionté has been put in place, Employment Enterprises can email clients customized invoices, a capability they didn’t have before.
  • In Debbie’s words: “Whatever the client wants, we can do.”

 

Building Ongoing Partnerships

We put as much focus on building an ongoing partnership with Employment Enterprises as we did on developing a great software solution for them. And our partnership with them continues to this day.

Debbie is thrilled that they can now find help on the website or email, and they know if they need immediate assistance, they can pick up the phone and get it, right then and there.

“Their customer care is wonderful,” Debbie said.
