Avionté Client honored with the George Mason Medal

Congratulations to Lovey Hammel for all you have accomplished and the opportunities you have created for so many others.

Manassas, Virginia – May 9, 2012 – Lovey Hammel, president and cofounder of Employment Enterprises, Inc. and George Mason University Class of 1988 alumna, has been honored with the George Mason Medal in recognition of her service to the University. She will receive the award during George Mason’s 40th graduation ceremony on May 19th.

Ms. Hammel received a BS in Business Administration from George Mason University in 1988 and was named Alumna of the Year in 1997. She sits on the Board of Visitors, has served on the George Mason Foundation from 1996 to 2005 and was the first alumni chair of the Foundation from 2001 to 2003. Most recently, she served as Chair of the Presidential Search Committee for George Mason, which resulted in the selection of Dr. Ángel Cabrera as the next president of the University.

“Pursuing my degree while at the same time running an entrepreneurial business emphasized the importance of having a strong business foundation,” says Ms. Hammel. “With the educational base I received at George Mason, I was able to grow our business beyond the $100 million revenue mark. Mason was the foundation from which I built Employment Enterprises, Inc. I am truly honored to receive this award.”
