Group Product Manager

Avionte is the leading staffing and recruiting software platform serving the contingent workforce economy. We are in a high-growth phase and we've fundamentally changed how software gets built. Our AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) means AI generates, reviews, and validates code continuously. The bottleneck is no longer writing code, it's making sharp decisions about what to build, why it matters, and whether what shipped is right.

As a Group Product Manager, you own that bottleneck. You lead a team of Product Managers within a defined domain, set up the strategy, and ensure your team can feed the AIDLC pipeline with clear intent, validated outcomes, and fast feedback. This role reports to the VP of Product Management.

What You'll Own
  • Domain Strategy: Define a clear, outcome-driven roadmap for your domain. In an AIDLC environment, build cycles are compressed — your strategy needs to be precise enough to direct AI-assisted development with minimal rework.
  • Intent Clarity at Scale: Ensure your team produces requirements, context, and acceptance criteria that AI-assisted development pipelines can act on. Ambiguity is expensive. Clarity is the product.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and develop a team of PMs and Product Owners. Build the habit of continuous discovery and fast validation — your team needs to stay ahead of the build cycle, not chase it.
  • Human-in-the-Loop Judgment: AIDLC moves fast. You and your team are the decision layer — reviewing AI-generated outputs, catching misalignment early, and making the calls that AI cannot.
  • Discovery Velocity: Drive continuous customer and market discovery. As shipping speed increases, discovery becomes the constraint. Your team should always know what to build next and why.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM. In AIDLC, misalignment surfaces faster and costs more — alignment upfront is non-negotiable.
  • Metrics & Outcomes: Define what success looks like before work begins. Use product analytics and AI-assisted insight tools to measure impact, close feedback loops, and inform the next cycle.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years leading or mentoring other PMs
  • Comfort operating in high-velocity environments where the build cycle is fast and the premium is on judgment, not documentation
  • Deep familiarity with outcome-driven road mapping, continuous discovery, and Jobs to Be Done
  • Ability to write and communicate with precision — in an AI-assisted build environment, the quality of your input determines the quality of the output
  • Experience defining and interpreting product metrics; able to distinguish signal from noise quickly
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, design, and business stakeholders
  • Fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, documentation, and synthesis
  • Experience in staffing, HCM, workforce technology, or enterprise SaaS is a strong plus
Bonus Points
  • Experience leading product in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environments
  • Hands-on exposure to AI-augmented development workflows or AI-native product organizations
