Sales Director

Avionté is seeking a Director of Sales to lead, coach, and develop our high-performing team of Sales Executives responsible for driving new business and accelerating growth across multiple verticals. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role plays a critical part in building a scalable, process-driven sales organization and achieving aggressive revenue targets.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Account Executives to achieve individual and team bookings targets
  • Hire and onboard new team members and accelerate new hire ramp time 
  • Foster a strong team culture within a remote environment, emphasizing accountability, motivation, and collaboration
  • Establish an environment of open communication, trust, and high performance
  • Drive a scalable sales process and repeatable methodology aligned with organizational goals 
  • Set, track, and manage team sales targets, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting 
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement 
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales administration processes, pipeline management, and CRM utilization
  • Work closely with marketing to align messaging, lead generation strategies, and demand creation 
  • Partner with product and other internal teams to ensure feature positioning and market needs are aligned
  • Uphold and enforce compliance with sales, finance, legal policies and procedures 
  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to best practices within Salesforce CRM and other sales tools 
  • Provide timely reporting and insights to senior leadership, including forecast updates and performance analysis 
  • Maintain a high level of organization, analytical rigor, and operational discipline across all sales activities
 
What You’ll Need
  • Strong, proven experience managing, coaching, and mentoring sales teams
  • Experience leading remote sales teams while maintaining a positive, engaged culture
  • Proven experience selling or leading sales in a SaaS organization
  • Strong background in building and executing scalable sales processes and methodologies
  • Positive, motivating leadership style with a coaching mindset
  • Competitive drive with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong understanding of sales administration and pipeline management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Prior software sales experience is a plus
  • Experience in the staffing and recruiting industry is also a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support the team and close opportunities
