Sales Training Specialist

Avionté is an innovative software technology firm and due to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Sales Training Expert to our growing team! In this position you will be a key partner responsible for increasing sales of the Avionte platform by enabling our internal sales team to drive high performance. This is what you’ll do: 
  • Effectively articulate our solution’s vision, capabilities, and business value for our clients to all of our sales team that teaches them how to effectively sell our platform.
  • Coordinate training activities that will help maximize our sales team’s performance
  • Mentor sales people, including acting as a consultant to sales people and provide helpful advice on coping with challenges
  • Conducting skills gap analysis to identify areas of improvement
  • Design individual and team training courses to onboard and train new sales people, setting annual learning and development objectives for the sales team
  • Develop educational material, including presentations, videos, sales scripts and case studies
  • Gather feedback on all training programs from trainees, managers and instructors
  • Evaluate employees’ performance after each training, and report on impact of training programs (e.g. sales achieved)
  • Creating a culture of “Customer First” that results in positive customer and partner experience
This is what you’ll need:
  • A good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority
  • Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learn platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people
  • Ability to manage full training cycle, including in-person activities and web based learning
  • Passion for the Staffing Industry
  • Familiarity and interest with HRIS software solutions
  • 2+ years of experience in Business-to-Business Sales
  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Training or in a Learning and Development role 
  • Aptitude to professionally develop self and the sales team 
  • High degree of technical aptitude and curiosity
  • Detail oriented and has strong communication skills
  • Commitment to documentation and detailed requirements gathering
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other preferred but not required
  • Additional training certification a plus
