We are looking for a dedicated Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team and lead the successful implementation of our solutions for our clients.

Job Description:
The Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) plays a critical role in helping new clients go-live on Avionté’s software platform. TSEs oversee and execute data migration processes as part of a client’s software implementation project. Core responsibilities include comprehensive database analysis of various source systems (databases, spreadsheet, etc.), validating content, and seamlessly migrating data into the Avionté system. Additional duties include proactive issue identification and issue resolution related to data migrations. TSEs simlutaneously support multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Migration: Develop SQL scripts/SSIS packages for large data migrations from legacy source systems to the target database in a repeatable and scalable manner.
  • Proactive Issue Resolution and Escalation: Identify, communicate, and recommend risk mitigation strategies for data migration issues, escalating as necessary for prompt resolution.
  • Project Planning: Provide effort estimates for data migration tasks to contribute to project planning.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple data migration projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SQL script development and configuring databases/tables for importing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, MS Office, and ETL tools such as SSIS.
  • Effective workload planning and management skills to balance planned projects and ad hoc tasks.
  • Strong prioritization abilities, adapting work efforts based on project needs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective engagement with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard business hours based on business needs.
  • Demonstrated integrity in professional conduct.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in data migration is advantageous.
