Technical Solutions Engineer

Avionte is adding a Technical Solutions Engineer to our Technical Services Team. In this role, you will deliver prompt, top-notch customer service, specific to clients’ data feeds, reporting, eDocs, portals, data structures, and business technology with both internal and external Avionte clients. This role requires a solid understanding of Staffing business and Avionte application skills to assist our clients with their business needs.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide a high level of technical as well as application knowledge and expertise to clients with regard to all components of Avionte’s software solution based on the client’s individual business needs.
  • Facilitate the development of new reports, eDocuments, feeds, data imports, and complex data modification requests by gathering requirements from clients, delegating to the appropriate team, and collaborating with different team members with quality and efficient resolutions. 
  • Provide testing support/QA throughout the technical services process.
  • Support continuous improvement of Avionte’s solution, exploring opportunities for enhancement and improvement with regard to technical services.
  • Provide effective customer solutions through problem-solving and applying technical knowledge.
  • Analyze and prepare reports or documentation with regard to personnel, payroll, and other reports within Avionte’s proprietary staffing solution for clients as requested.
  • Design and develop reports and alternative solutions to satisfy the user and their business needs within the system requirements. Present alternatives to report design to users.
Experience Requirements:
  • 1 year of professional experience related to technical services or technical support
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience developing SQL scripts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and MS Office and ETL tools like SSIS.
  • Familiarity with SSRS reporting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science or a related field highly preferred
  • Experience with Avionte software is strongly preferred
