As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth with mid-sized to large staffing companies. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting and consultative discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close, while representing Avionté at industry events and building deep relationships with key decision makers.
Your success will be measured by new account bookings (software subscription contracts) and your ability to win competitive deals through superior territory management, relationship-building, and solution selling.
This is what you'll do:
- Manage a defined sales territory and execute a strategic plan to exceed new business goals
- Use a consultative, value-based sales approach to uncover client needs and deliver tailored software solutions
- Execute a consultative, solution-selling process; build value, identify decision makers, understand needs/reason for the change, demonstrate solutions, present proposal, negotiate, and close deals to meet and exceed quota targets
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in Salesforce and accurately forecast results
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineers, Marketing, Customer Success) to deliver an exceptional buying experience
- Set and manage customer expectations pre- and post-sale to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
This is what you'll need:
- Self-starter, motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experienced in B2B software sales, ideally in HCM, ATS, or staffing technology
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage at the C-level and translate technology into business value
- Ability to listen, synthesize information, and communicate business and technical information clearly
- Highly organized self-starter with strong time management and follow-up discipline
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to learn quickly, understand complex systems, and relate benefits to business people
- Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value new business contracts
- Ability to travel to client sites within assigned territory as needed
