Avionte Participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Have you heard of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? In the past few weeks, people across the U.S. – celebrities, sports players, and even recently the president – have poured ice water over their heads to help raise money for the ALS Association.

According to their website, since July 29 of this year, the ALS Association and its 38 chapters have received over $4 million in donations (compared to approximately $1.12 million raised at this time last year). The Avionte team and the Avionte Hope Foundation wanted to get involved, too, so six Avionte employees gathered outside our breakroom at the end of the workday yesterday to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and to show our support for the ALS Association.

We’ve challenged six of our partners – Essential StaffCARE, Global Cash Card, Call-Em-All, PeopleG2, ADP and Asurint – to partake in the challenge, and also added an additional component; for every Avionte client that participates in the challenge, the Avionte Hope Foundation will be donating $50 to the ALS Association!
