Avionté is a leading provider of workforce management solutions for the staffing and recruiting industry. Our innovative software empowers staffing agencies to streamline their processes, improve efficiency, and drive business growth through an integrated, end-to-end system. We are the only staffing solution that offers Vendor Management, Applicant Tracking (ATS), Client Relationship Management (CRM), Time and Attendance Management, Billing, Invoicing, Payroll, and a Mobile Talent App in a single platform. We are looking for a dedicated Implementation Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful implementation of our solutions for our clients.
The Implementation Project Manager at Avionté plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless adoption and utilization of our workforce management software solutions by our clients. This role requires strong project management skills, technical aptitude, and a client-first mindset. You will be accountable for the full implementation lifecycle, from kickoff through go-live, ensuring every milestone is achieved within scope, budget, and timeline while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Serve as the accountable lead for the full implementation lifecycle, from project initiation through go-live. Own the project plan, drive momentum, and ensure all workstreams are progressing on track, you are the person clients and internal teams look to when it matters most.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation. Set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and create an environment where clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the process.
Project Planning & Timeline Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables. Actively manage the project schedule, identify dependencies, and hold clients and internal teams accountable to key dates to protect the go-live timeline.
Scope Management & Change Control: Clearly define and maintain project scope throughout the engagement. Identify and evaluate scope change requests, communicate impact to timeline, and engage the appropriate internal teams when additional support is needed.
Client Health Monitoring: Proactively track client health signals throughout the implementation — including engagement levels, open issues, and milestone progress — and surface risks early before they escalate. Take a solutions-oriented approach to keeping implementations on a healthy trajectory.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain a consistent communication cadence with clients and internal stakeholders, including status updates, and clear documentation of decisions and action items. Ensure the right people have the right information at the right time.
Escalation Judgment: Recognize when issues require escalation and act with urgency and good judgment. Know when to manage challenges independently, when to bring in leadership, and how to communicate escalations in a way that instills confidence rather than alarm.
Technical Solutioning: Demonstrate technical aptitude to effectively communicate with configuration specialists and technical teams. Ensure client requirements align with the capabilities of Avionté's software solutions and guide clients in making informed configuration decisions.
Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, including configuration specialists, trainers, and support resources. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team members meet project deadlines.
Proactive Intelligence: Leverage project management tools, implementation data, and emerging automation or AI‑enabled insights to proactively identify risks, optimize timelines, and improve client outcomes
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project success, client satisfaction, or go-live readiness.
Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, documented updates, and meeting notes. Ensure all project materials are organized, current, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Go-Live & Handoff: Ensure a smooth transition to post-live support by coordinating go-live readiness activities, confirming client adoption, and facilitating a structured handoff to the Customer Success team.
