For nearly 20 years, Minnesota radio station 101.3 KDWB has gifted clothing, food, car repairs and other items to local families and individuals in need during the holiday season. This is done through what they call their “Christmas Wish” program and throughout December, the KDWB Dave Ryan Show has aired broadcasted the stories of people in and around the Twin Cities area that have been nominated to receive a gift from KDWB’s Christmas Wish.
After some discussion, the Avionte Hope Foundation committee decided to donate $2,500 to KDWB’s Christmas Wish program this year. Last Friday, we were able to hear the family that would be benefiting from our doation, and what a story it was. The family is truly deserving and we are happy to have been able to play a part in helping them this holiday season.
